A Multi-Blockchain Game that could have been something special.
ChainZ Arena was a game that brought different communities of the crypto-world with it’s creative way to copy one of the most popular games on mobile, Idle Heroes. It’s exactly like Idle Heroes, but with an AFK Arena look (UI). Not trying to say copying is bad and we think it was smart, but what the MoBox team did with the game wasn’t smart at all.
MoBox team straight up scammed their players, myself included (luckily I started to notice and slowly exited the game). I was shocked when this actually had happened and also sad that such a great game got ruined.
Few things the MoBox team did:
- Manipulate price of SOUL and dump on users while it’s pumping. *Their events would always be the excuse to why SOUL prices go down after they had dumped.
- Take the top prize of events (Tesla has been confirmed, but I’m pretty sure they took all the other big ones.). Using the team’s wallet, SOUL was transferred to the mystery player who won the Tesla. Go figure. By the way this is on the blockchain…
- Buy backs were supposed to happen and even though they said they did the buy backs, there was nothing on the blockchain to prove it. Finally MoBox admitted they didn’t buy back and that’s when the game was pretty much over.
Scams are getting more well planned and designed to make it not look like one. But if a project that requires you to spend some type of money should never have to hide their identity.
